About the event: As one of the oldest and most picturesque buildings in Padua, Palazzo Bo has long stood as the heart of the University of Padua. A guided tour (in English) will be organized for ISCaM 2026 participants.
Encompassing several buildings, Palazzo Bo holds both an Ancient and a New Courtyard. Lined with coats of arms embedded within its walls, the 16th century Ancient Courtyard gives way to the majestic Aula Magna and the renowned Anatomical Theatre, which is known as the oldest permanent anatomical theatre in the world (1595). Beyond a small passage lies the New Courtyard. This 20th century courtyard leads to a series of rooms designed and decorated by the brilliant Italian architect Gio Ponti.
After the visit, immerse yourself in the vibrant life of the city center, and enjoy a coffee or a spritz in one of the many bars lining up the sides of the central squares of Padua.
